How much fun can you have?
A superb fun mobility machine powered by Segway, how good does that sound?
There are many powered wheelchair and mobility products for people with cerebral palsy but probably non more fun than the Genny.
Genny was the brainchild of a man seriously injured following an accident. Years of unsuccessful
searching for something to satisfy his mobility needs he decided to make it his quest.
Many years later, and utilising up to date technology the Genny was born.
People with mobility challenges like cerebral palsy are now able to take advantage of this exciting new mode of transport for improved and satisfying personal mobility.
Thanks to self-balancing technology the user is rewarded with a unique freedom of movement.
Those who use traditional wheelchairs are well acquainted with the problems regarding their daily use, often looking down to avoid the small anterior wheels sinking in dips and always having the hands full (often getting dirty) can be reason of daily frustration.
Living in the UK the perennial problem of the rain, compels the user to get wet because of the impossibility of holding a simple umbrella, or increasing risk when dealing with slippery grounds, little steps or little slopes.
The Genny solves all these issues immediately.
This exciting aid to mobility can be easily ‘driven’ from ages 11 up.
A 'test drive' is a must and we feel sure you will be delighted but don't take our word for it. Here is the words of Cerebral Palsy Paralympian Chris Channon MBE:
"I have athetoid cerebral palsy and a C3/4 spinal injury. I needed a powered chair and recently purchased a Genny. This futuristic mobility aid is based upon the tried and tested Segway two-wheeled personal transporter. Riding the Genny is an incredible, unbelievable experience as you really don't notice that you're on two wheels. It's most definitely a crowd puller - with most people looking for the 'other' wheels! It's extremely responsive and highly manoeuvrable, the Genny represents a quantum leap forward in powered chair design and I cannot recommend it enough."
If you have any questions about the Genny, arrange a test drive or want to know if you qualify for our unique cerebral palsy grant towards a new model get in touch.
